The Oregon girls basketball team allowed just nine first-half points en route to a 50-26 win over DeForest in the Badger Challenge on Friday, Jan. 13, at Milton High School.

The Panthers (7-5) raced out to a 30-9 halftime lead over the Norskies. Oregon outpaced DeForest 20-17 in the second half.

Sophomore wing Olivia Neis and junior forward Delaney Nyenhuis both finished with 13 points for Oregon. Neis added six rebounds to go along with four assists and a pair of blocks. Nyenhuis had five rebounds and two steals.

Junior guard Katelyn Studebaker added seven points and three assists in the win.
