Oregon’s Logan Martin won medalist honors in a Badger West Conference quad at Monroe on Wednesday, April 27, and that came after a top-12 finish in the Morgan Stanley Shootout.

The Panthers shot a 170 and finished second in a quad at the Monroe Country Club. Oregon was coming off a sixth-place finish at the Morgan Stanley Shootout at the University Ridge Golf Course in Madison the day before.

Badger West quad

Oregon finished second at a Badger West Conference quad on April 27, at the Monroe Country Club.

The Panthers shot a 170, one stroke behind Mount Horeb. Monroe took third (178) and Madison Edgewood was fourth (192).

Martin earned medalist honors after shooting a 4-over par-38. Billy McCorkle shot a 5-over-par 39, for the second-best score. Senior Deaken Bush carded a 44. Both Henry Weink and Myles Tomlinson shot a 49 to round out the top scores for the Panthers.

Morgan Stanley Shootout

Martin shot a 75 to tie Middleton's Charlie Jambor for fourth place at the Morgan Stanley Shootout on April 26, at University Ridge Golf Course in Madison.

Oregon shot a 327 to finish sixth out of 12 teams. The Panthers were eight strokes behind fifth-place Verona. Madison Memorial ran away with the team title after shooting a 302. Madison Edgewood took second (315) followed by Waunakee (313), third-place Middleton (315) and then Middleton (318).

Bush carded a 79. McCorkle shot an 83 and Tomlinson finished with a 90.
