A Disney classic is making its way to the Oregon Performing Arts Center this summer.
The Oregon Straw Hats Players recently announced Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” as the summer 2023 production, with Sarah Karlen serving as the director.
Performances will take place between Saturday, Aug. 5 and Saturday, Aug. 12 at the Oregon Performing Arts Center.
Those interested can expect auditions and crew sign ups on the following dates at the Oregon High School:
Thursday, May 25
Ages 13 and under (must have a parent or guardian present with the student) – 6:30 p.m. at the Innovation Center at Oregon High School, 456 N. Perry Pkwy.
Ages 14 and over – 7:15 p.m. at the Innovation Center at Oregon High School, 456 N. Perry Pkwy.
Tuesday, May 30
Ages 13 and under (must have a parent or guardian present with the student) – 6:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at Oregon High School, 456 N. Perry Pkwy.
Ages 14 and over – 7:15 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at Oregon High School, 456 N. Perry Pkwy.
