Natural Path Sanctuary

Natural Path Sanctuary is located at 2299 Spring Rose Road in Verona, part of the Gene and Linda Farley Center for Peace, Justice and Sustainability.

Are you interested in an alternative to cremation or a traditional casket burial?

An upcoming presentation at the Oregon Area Senior Center at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 20 will provide information about a local “green burial” option.

Shedd Farley, from Natural Path Sanctuary in Verona, and Nickie Gard, from Gunderson Funeral and Cremation Care, will discuss options during the presentation.

Natural Path Sanctuary is a nature preserve burial ground also known as a green cemetery, located in Verona. It is the first cemetery in Dane County that exclusively follows natural green burial practices which include no embalming, no vaults, and only biodegradable containers or shrouds.

If interested, call 608-835-5801 to register for this free event.
